Opportunity is missed by most people, because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

A few successes:

holand DinnerI brought Coca Cola as a new client to Elias Music, NYC. Helped produce a radio spot that we scored in Amsterdam. It was challenging to work abroad with the language barrier and a foreign production company. The Coke client and the advertising agency I worked with were so pleased with how smoothly the job went and how the spot turned out that they became one of Elias’ biggest repeat client.

I produced a twelve-page print ad for BMW Motorcycles. It was shot all over the west coast, from the deserts of California to the mountains of Utah, all the way into Canada. I hired a cameraman to film as they went along in hopes that I could sell BMW on the idea for a commercial. They loved the spot and it and it still airs today.

Post ProductionI worked on several spec commercial spots for Liberty Post Productions (see links at bottom).  Faced with an extremely tight budget. I was successful in hiring the crew, talent, catering, trailer, and equipment, and to acquire free film from Kodak. The spots awarded Liberty Post with many agency projects, including I Love New York tourism work. I creatively solved a budget problem and in turn made the company substantial income.

I helped write and implement the “Transition Program” for Spectrum Health Systems, a vendor to the Department of Corrections. This program was designed to reduce the recidivism rate nationwide. It gives inmates the tools they need when they are released back into society.  Among them are access to housing, budgeting skills, access to programs in their area, and ways to find family.  I won an award for excellence for my work. The Transition Program is still running through the DOC, and the recidivism rate has been reduced since the program started.Shea, Shea

I co-produced an independent short in New York City.  Working pro-bono and with a tiny budget, the film was a success and went on to be entered into the Sundance Independent Film Festival.

I have been a principal actor in several commercials for AMC (American Movie Classic Channel) and Tostitos/ESPN. I have also modeled for several commercial ads.
